The A side “Vahan Matkaa Viela” is a dark, bare bones tune that recalls the Cowboy Junkies on psychedelics and the Velvet Underground. As you might tell by the title, it is sung in Finnish. The flip side, “Lippalakki Suojana” crawls along in similar territory - before being ruptured open by an explosion of guitars two-thirds of the way through.
