5. King Street Crawl
An afternoon and evening of lots of bands playing in and around the Newtown area. It's a great way of checking out new bands and it's all free. I’m looking forward to taking part in the upcoming Summer Crawl in January.

6. The Jane Does
It's been a bit of a whirlwind year for us: new drummer, new songs, recorded an album, released two digital songs, an interview on 2RRR, played more gigs than previous years (including Great Southern Nights at MoshPit). Looking forward to releasing our debut album next year!

7. Cherie Currie at The Sydney Crowbar

No political rants thankfully, just lots of great songs. The support band was Hot Machine who remind me of what it must have been like to see The Runaways in the ‘70s. Great night of female rock!

8. The Church at Anitas in Thirroul, NSW
Loved hearing all their singles played in such a nice old style theatre.

9. Books:
“Eternal Flame: The Authorized Biography of The Bangle”.
“Touched by the Presence” by Gary Lachman/Valentine.

10. Movies:
“A Complete Unknown”.
“Superman” - Gotta love a superhero who believes that kindness is punk rock.
“The Most Australian Band Ever” and “Harder and Harder”.
“Spinal Tap 11: The End Continues”.

11. Sad loses
Clem Burke, Steve Vanderschoot, James Baker, Gene Hackman, David Johansen, Brian Wilson, Sly Stone, Rob Reiner,
 and Rusty
