White released an archival Gories live recording on Third Man in 2013 and a new Gories 45 in 2015 - as well as Mick Collins' subsequent band the Dirtbombs (which also featured Third Man co-founder Ben Blackwell), and Danny's own subsequent band the Demolition Doll Rods.
Danny has more recently been spending time learning and recording more traditional folk, blues, and gospel tunes from the public domain. His new album "Detroit Blues" could be considered part two of his debut solo LP, "Angels Watching Over Me".
