    We had the pleasure of seeing Rayand Blackie quite a bit this year. Live and on the big screen. The only artist we got to absorb more than these two champs were our Rock n Rock Bloodbrothers The Strike-Outs.

  • viduker flexiBluesy rock with its feet nailed to the floor in a smoky bar somewhere in the ‘70s, Vikunder kick out righteous rock with a lashing of soul on this single, a taster for their second album, “Oracles and Prophets”.

    “Gone With The Dawn” motors on the same melodic fuel that’s powered The Sewergrooves for the best part of a decade. Is it any surprise they, too, hail from Sweden? In Vidunker’s case, one guitar and an organ fill out the sound with Martin Prim’s tuneful vocal pushed slightly back in the mix.

  • new release dinkusTwo Headed is a Swedish duo comprising Kurt Dräckes (The Sewergrooves, The Royal Cream) and Robert Eriksson (The Hellacopters, KSM3, Strindbergs, Black Weeds),

    Unlike most of those bands, Two Headed keeps things stripped to the essentials: guitar, drums, voice. No excess, no detours — just songs that hold their ground without needing anything added.

    Dräckes and Eriksson first crossed paths in the mid-’90s before going their separate ways, eventually reconnecting years later. That history doesn’t come through as nostalgia, but as clarity — a shared sense of what stays and what gets left out.
