For the past 30 years, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles (aka D.R.I.) have built themselves a legacy as the epitome of the original aggressive, hardcore-punk thrash sound. The original pioneers of 'crossover thrash' are not only returning to Australia for the first time in 20 years but are making their long awaited debut on New Zealand shores.
D.R.I. are playing dates in Auckland and Wellington in May along with a short run of shows in Australia.
Featuring original members Kurt Brech (vocals) and Spike Cassidy (Guitar), D.R.I are still actively touring, recording and thrashing just as hard and as loud as ever.
They might be a little older now, but time hasn't gotten the best of the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles as they continue to overload our senses with the sound that is, and will always remain, uniquely D.R.I.
