On the back of their long-awaited return to Australia in June last year Asteroid B-612 (above) are back with another dose of high-octane rock.
Their brand-new single, “Fallen Slow’”, will be released on April 10 via Golden Robot Records and is available to pre-save now on all major streaming platforms.
The re-tooled Asteroids were in Australia to promote their 2025 album “Roads, Stars”, the band found themselves with a rare few hours to spare during rehearsals. Wasting no time, Johnny Casino and Co headed into the studio.
The band’s planned European tour is off, thanks to a disruption called the US attack on Iran. It's made a reunion in Spain too difficult for Australia-based vocalist Grant McIver and drummer Ben Fox. No doubt the band will re-schedule once hostilities are over.

Ketamine Cowboys, featuring filmmaker Andrew “El Stumpo” Leavold and Mick Turner (no.. not that Mick Turner), germinated in the sub-tropical climes of the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Their four-track EP “Feeling A Little Dusty” distils the chaos, intensity and vaudeville tomfoolery that marks a live Ketamine Cowboys show onto a 7" platter.
It's available as a limited edition vinyl EP or download.
It’s via Brisbane label Swashbuckling Hobo and you can get it here.

You might know him better as a member of the Ron S Peno’s band and The Superstitions or another Melbourne outfit, Silver Ray, but guitarist par excellence Cam Butler has a burgeoning solo career.
He’s releasing a new single “The Warning” ahead of ahis new album, “”World Forever”, due on May 1 via Heavy Machinery Records.
"World Forever" blends a 28‑piece string orchestra and rock ensemble with the immense power of the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Organ and is Cam's 12th solo long-player.
The result is said to be "a sweeping, cinematic journey moving from lush, widescreen beauty to dark, gothic intensity and psychedelic colour".
Cam Butler will be performing "World Forever" on Friday May 22 at Melbourne Town Hall. Pre-order the album here.
