4. THE OWEN GUNS:
Played and organised some electric gigs in 2025, but we are mostly proud of these fellas for being unapologetic and unafraid to write songs from the bottom of their dead, black hearts. “SONGS ABOUT FUCKING IDIOTS” (Booker/Bastard/Outtaspace) is one of the finest we have been involved with; you can read what we reckon here.
5. OUTTASPACE WEEKENDER #4 @ LINK AND PIN WOY WOY:
A yearly love-in of untold rock’n’roll epicness. This year we had Friday, Saturday and Sunday gigs featuring: The FNCs, Trashed Again, The Silver Dragons, The Sugar Beats, The Wraylettes, The Strike-Outs, Pete Ross & The Sapphire, Rawrus Tongue, The Dustys, The Dunhill Blues, The Warts, Antibodies, The Cannanes, Love Me, Chris Wash & The Gibberish Collective. FIRST WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER 2026!
6. PLASTIC SECTION & CHAPUTA! RECORDS:
In 2025, Outtaspace alumnus Plastic Section released their third vinyl LP “REVENGE” on the highly respected garage/fuzz/punk label Chaputa! Records, Portugal. We are so stoked for them! Also, Plastic Section is featured on the 100th Chaputa! release: STILL PRIMITIVE!, out February 2026, and you can preorder here (first 50 orders receive a free poster).
7. JENNY DON’T & THE SPURS @ LINK AND PIN WOY WOY:
Third time’s the charm — we welcomed the faaabulous Jenny Don’t & The Spurs from Portland Oregon back to Woy Woy NSW for another rootin’, tootin’, low-falutin’ hootenanny in 2025. It was a stunning arvo when they arrived, so a trip to Umina Beach was in order (plus beers). Hoody and Miranda also hosted a gorgeous breakfast and bonus wildlife parade before the band scrammed to their next show in Newcastle.
8. THE SCHIZOPHONICS @ LINK AND PIN WOY WOY 24/1/25:
Remember the date, because it’s the wildest gig the venue has hosted outside Clandestine Sausage (Hard-Ons) in 2021. Tightest rhythm section and trousers. Link and Pin’s tiny stage turned into a garage-rock gymkhana as lead Schizophonic Pat Beers writhed, whirled and summoned the devil … or potentially Spike Milligan. (The band particularly appreciated the radish rose Milly carved for their snack plate.)
9. OUR PINBALL MACHINE:
We’ve kind of borrowed a skill-tester from a legendary pinball doctor named Kressie, and we’ve commissioned our very own Link and Pin Woy Woy pinball machine; Kressie is building it, and it’ll have sound grabs from our favourite bands once we’ve asked them, plus annoying catchphrases we hear at the venue every day. It’s gonna be SICK!
