You might have been there to see it yourself. If you weren’t, you might have bought "The Murder Punk" bootlegs or "Do The Pop." You know good old Australian punk. So the rotating live punk rock show, Fuck The Neighbours, is in your wheelhouse.
Fuck The Neighbours is Oz punk played by some of the Oz punks who made it, and it’s quickly established itself as a “must see” and a good night (or afternoon) out. Fuck The Neighours returns for its first 2026 outing on the afternoon of Saturday, April 25, gracing MoshPit Bar in St Peters, Sydney. Tickets are on sale here.
The core band of Cub Callaway (THe Saints, New Christs, Ed Kuepper), Bob Short (Filth, Chris Masuak), Murray Shepherd (Screaming Tribesmen, Hitmen, The Fun Things) and Simon Chainsaw (Vanilla Chainsaws) will forcibly drag you down a memory lane populated by raw knee-shakers from the likes of the Saints, Radio Birdman, the Fun Things, X and more. It’s a run through of the Oz Punk Songbook - and it’s on a long weekend so you get two days to recover.
Doing their best to keep up in support will be MoshPit faves Jupiter 5 packing a piledriving catalogue of iron clad riffs and garage rock promo-punk. Openers are Kung Fu Grip who have been making lots of noise around Sydney deny town of late and say: “If the MC5 and Zeke had a baby, abandoned that baby in a dumpster and it grew up mean and feral. Dirty sleazy punk n roll”.
The last Fuck The Neighbours shows at MoshPit sold out so get to Oztix without delay, Presented by The I-94 Bar and we wouldn't steer you wrong.
